Sorry mate, my idnet connection is fine atm. Is your adsl light green? Only the ppp light red?

(i dont know netgear, but i assume red means not connected and green is)

Yeah all lights green apart from the internet light

vitriol

Have you checked your micro filters?

Pistol

hmm, in my limited knowledge that means it is related to yer IDnet login/connection.

Tried double checking your login details in your router and then rebooting it after powering it down for 10 seconds? (i need to go out now, but im sure others will help ye as they have helped me :)

Give IDNet a call, Diss.  They are working on the networks, so maybe something has tripped up.

Or, like me, you may be cut off by a bunch of Openreach engineers working on the cables, Diss. Is your phone OK?

Phoned support and there is a fault at the Bt exchange :( just gotta wait I guess, idnet are going to tell them  about it

Rik

I had a sneaky feeling it was BT, Diss. They are doing so much work in connection with WBC and 21CN that they seem to be messing up connections all over the place. :(

When I got home today I had no connection. Internet Explorer diagnosed the problem being with DNS servers, however my router didn't report any problem with the connection. A reboot of the router sorted it out, so it probably had something to do with IDNet's or BT's work.
