Sounds like the supplier didn't send it to Shittylink David, if it is only now on it's way to delivery branch.

Overclocker's is off of my shopping list. :rant2:

Ask for a refund, David. Presumably you paid for next day delivery?

Its possible Paul.Im not too fussed to be honest Im relieved I have managed to get some data on it as with other companies I have tracked items from being scanned, loaded on van etc...I have seen this "catch up before"but at least I know the latest will be tomorrow and there is always this possiblity when ordering late Friday so I cant be too hard them to be fair

But you could have made arrangements to be in all day when you may well have had other things to do David, this kind of poor service gets under my skin.

Sorry for the rant. ;)

Citylink's tracking system isn't always accurate.

I was tracking a parcel I ordered via Amazon and the Citylink site said it was delivered to Swansea and was loaded on a van for delivery. Thankfully the parcel turned up that day and the driver didn't have to drive all the way from Wales!

David you are far too kind with suppliers, eBuyer you can order up until 8.00pm for next day delivery, so they can all do it.

Steve

Being philosophical. I have always thought Monday was a poor day for setting up a monitor. Much better to do it on a Tuesday. In defence of Overclockers if you read their terms and conditions, 16.30 is given as the cut off point for next day delivery

I stll think its a good service Steve,I did say this. I did ordered and paid for it late afternoon so really was surprised at the prospect of getting it this morning.I have not read the T&Cs but as I said earlier Im sure it will be here tomorrow and if I had ordered it at 1pm on Friday I expect it would be here now

Im still happy to get my bargain and I have tomorrow to look foward to..setting it up.

vitriol

I'm very surprised at this, I've ordered loads of components from Overclockers and every time it has been delivered on the day / specified time.  The delivery service is usually spot on.

Glad you got the monitor though David, take some pics please :)

I might be in the market for a new one soon

David

Will do Vitriol.its very impressive and I have only opened the box.just reading up on the bits and bobs looks straight foward enough.I note is heavy in comparison to my ther monitor and all leads are included DVI ......I somehow think I may be in for a pleasant surprise when I see the quality  :fingers:
