New, can't believe how quiet it is compared to the old one. Keyboard and mouse are rubbish so I'll be putting the old ones on soon

Thanks Rik,I think what has impressed me about the new intels is their thermal efficiency,you don't need a host of noisy fans to blow a gale through the case to drag heat away from a hot processor plus in addition the motherboard are largely now fanless. I suppose Philip will have to be careful with his choice of graphics card and bespoke chip cooler and fan (more expense  ) if "cool and quiet" is to be continued.
