really is exciting - i always hated norton (after norton 2004...urgh) but this does look promising

Tried it, hated it, took over your pc as Norton always does even installed a gadget in the vista sidebar, massive toolbar you have to have with NORTON in big letters all with no options to stop on install, it would not update properly even though I had net access and froze pc, restored back to Kaspersky.....happy days all is well, it does uninstall properly though, I checked befor using an image nothing much left over at all....I would say I had a bad install but Norton still force you to use active x in IE to "chat" about issues, no direct email access without a good hunt around, I hated it. Game over

Oh, that's not good, is it? It's the plastering itself all over the place I hate - almost like being branded. I've been bidding on ebay for a cheap license (2007 / 2008 is apparently usable), but wouldn't go above a fiver, and didn't get one. Think I'll stop bidding now.

No, it may be faster and lighter but it takes control of your pc and brands it, shame really you don't want NORTON in 8mm high bold font at the left of your browser in a toolbar that clutters firefox and IE, let alone putting a gadgt in my sidebar in Vista without asking me if I want it

Norton is like the AOL of the AV market
