I've been with Idnet for 5 months now.
I can honestly say I have NEVER lost a connection in all that time.
Being an addicted gamer this is so important!

My connection speed has actually increased from 2.8 MB to 3.6 aswell.

I migrated from the nightmare called Orange and have nevr looked back since.

Thanks Idnet, you make a lot of people happy and care :-D

Merry Christmas everyone.

Hi Steve and a Happy Christmas & New Year to you mate.

I still check in the forums weekly, also on Orange problems too where I see you post still.
I post on both every so often, especially Orange to let more and more know about the robbing disgrace.

You couldn't have a word with a friend of mine could you? He's determined to go down the Orange road despite everything I've told him. :(

I'm just waiting for the calls for help to start...

That will probably happen because he won't get help off Orange if he needs any because their agents in Britain and India havn't got a clue.

You're all heart Rik, that's your trouble.
Once I've given somebody the warning and they've done it anyway, then it's their problem not mine.   Move over Pontius Pilate

Not that you have much influence in India I suppose

Rik

I'm more girth than heart. ;)

It depends on how close I am to people as to whether I'll try to help them if they ignore my advice. In this instance, it's my best friend, so I'll have to be there, even if that simply involves me in saying "I told you so..." :)

There was one woman, otoh, who used to bring me her PC to set straight. I would do so and she would leave with everything working, but within an hour she would be on the phone because she had changed something and 'broken it' again. She went down under the three strikes rule.

I have another close friend who is totally 'innocent' when it comes to technology. I set his machines up, he then lets 'experts' do things to them which cause them not to work as expected, or at all. In his case, I've now taken to locking the machine down so no-one can get on as an administrator.

The only influence I have in India is that I used to use a lot of their ink in the early days of my career. I doubt it counts for much now...  :(
