Many hammer all over the wall and believe that with each blow they hit the nail on the head.

Simon

Sure, it looks good value, but I would want to see it first.  :)

I prefer black, especially surrounding a screen, as it seems to bring out the contrast more.  But then, I prefer black in everything, and never saw the attraction with silver cased equipment.

I run 2 of their L22WT monitors and will replace older screens with these LG's when necessary.

At £150 you can't go wrong

I don't notice the silver surround and the 3000.1 contrast doesn't need any help from the surround to achieve an ideal display.

What is the date of the referendum for England to become an independent country ?

Same item with " free delivery " at Dixons. ( same company as PC World )

Looks like it may be a special model made for the DRG. ;)

For comparison, this LG model has a similar specification (although claims a better contrast ratio), is marginally cheaper and does come with a black surround.

It would be an added bonus if it came with the girl in the picture but I guess that would be asking too much at that price  ;D

LG monitors always seem to get reasonable reviews so I'd say either would give you good value for your money.

Another one here, even higher claimed contrast ratio, however, none of them seem to have DVI connection?

That would be a no non for me, In. The difference in image quality is significant.

Likewise Rik, I find it almost incredible, if in fact that is the case.

So often, of course, it's just a lazy website. :(

Or in the case of Currys/Dixons/PC World, blatant incompetence. ;D
