hi, everything has been ok connection wise for a long time but the last few days i have had constant disconnects, it seems to be when clicking a link or conncecting to something. 2-3 Pc's are connected up, it could be that there is too much traffic but it didnt have any trouble a few days ago.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It's unlikely to be just volume of traffic.

I'd think hard about anything that's changed at about the time the problem started - any new electrical equipment for Christmas?, changes in wiring, new or different electrical things outside in the garden or street, changes to the computer setup or connections, outside wiring blown about in the wind etc .
And do you know for certain that nobody in the house is turning anything off or on when the disconnections happen?

Or perhaps the recent stormy weather has driven rain into a connection somewhere between you and the exchange, in which case you should see it start to correct itself as it dries out.

You may as well run virus and spyware checks as well just in case, - and do you know exactly what both computers are doing at the time of the problem ?- but I'd expect it to be one of the above.

The other possibility being a bad joint in the internal phone wiring. I had this happen, everything was fine when I shut the system down one night, the next morning I couldn't sync. A BT engineer came out, fitted an NTE5 and regularised the wiring, re-making the joints, and all was well again.
