Anyone having trouble signing into MSN Messenger?

My wife is having trouble getting her Messenger client to sign into the MSN server at the moment. It just sits at 'authenticating' and goes no further. My sign on is fine using the same client and computer.

Ironically, she can log into the MSN web page and see her account settings, so I'm guessing there is something up with the actual Messenger server which controls her log in.

Anyone else having problems with Messenger this weekend?

Cheers Rik. We really only use it for keeping in touch with family members, mainly our son back in UK.

Seems odd that she can access her control page via the web. I'm fairly sure that they must use many sign-on/authentication servers and perhaps one of them has packed in.

There were some problems with MSN/MS sites a few weeks ago, JB, but I've heard nothing today, and there's no reports I've spotted on ThinkBroadband either.
