I am at my parents house this month who are on Home Lite (5GB limit) and I have downloaded 12GB up to the 22nd of the month, which is going to cost £7 extra (17.99 + 7 = 24.99). Is it possible to switch to Home Max this month (24.99) so I can keep on downloading, then switch back to Home Lite the next month?

I think there is no upgrade charge but is there a downgrade charge? And if you change package will the new limit take effect for the current month?

Thanks.

Simon

The charge is somewhat discretionary, i.e, they don't usually, but if one were to keep switching packages, they are entitled to pass the costs on.  My advice would be to speak to IDNet directly about it.  :)

I can't improve on Simon's answer, Zebrum. It does cost IDNet money when you change packages. They usually absorb it, but if you wanted to do it frequently, I suspect they would reach a point where they felt they had to pass the cost on.
