IDnet and email....

Just migrating in from Metronet/Plusnet. I have always use webmail in the past (Gmail) but note that IDNet's Home Max comes with 'unlimited' email accounts.

Can anyone please explain to arelatively inexperienced user how to set one or more of these up? How does it work with IDNet?

Fells good to be here though! Can't wait for Monday!

Ring them up and they will set them up immediately or send an email to support. Just put what you want in front of '@idnetfreemail.co.uk'.

Jeff...should we start a sticky somewhere with this as an initial item mate ? Kinda like a "sh#t something's wrong...this thread is your first port of call" or maybe named a bit better...

Well IMHO no. Reason being, if a punter has a problem, they had a catalyst for coming here at some stage. I would much prefer to give the individual personal attention ... I don`t mind repeating myself, even if the topic has been discussed before

Anyway, we`ll end up with more stickies than a fifteen year olds Kleenex box by his bed if we`re not careful

I`m partly to blame anyway. I have promised a comprehensive faq for our tweaks section which I have failed to deliver as yet but it is a WIP

I bet Turner didn`t produce the Haywain in 5 minutes ... adversely, did u know that Ray Parker Jr only took 10 minutes to write Ghostbusters theme!

Then again, your call man, 4 more cans and I won`t be able to see the monitor anyway
