Loss of PPP

just had another took longer to get back up too. Sync has dropped a tad since the first one this afternoon even after a router re-boot

Are people experiencing PPP drops, or re-syncs? It sounds like there are two separate issues, reading through the thread.

I had 2 ppp drops yesterday and no resyncs. The times corresponding with the others at 13.30 and 19.30.

After reading the posts here I checked the router logs and found this (I'm not usually on the computer in the evening).

Had a lost connection to IDNet today:

I hope it's just IDNet and not my new Netgear DG834G that arrived today. It really felt like downgrading when going from a hardware linux router to this, but needed the wireless functionality. All ADSL settings are per IDNet's instructions, with MTU defaulted at 1458.

It's the router issue which is going to be fixed tomorrow morning. :)
