FF3 is great, I'd never switch back to IE for general browsing.

Rik

I always preferred FF2 to IE or Opera. I'll leave others to note the past tense. ;)

I hope you haven't gone back to IE. Tell me it's not true! ;)

El Reg reckons FF3 is the most popular browser for visitors to it's site.

A better browser for better browsers  :thumb:

All three, Lance.

One thing that does niggle me, though, is the way it puts a bar at the end of a truncated bookmark or page title. Anyone know if this can be changed? (screenshot below)

Thanks, Ray. I wonder if it's a font issue?

My computer updated to 3 ok, but my wife's laptop wouldn't. Eventually I just installed 3 over the top of 2 and it was fine. Of course I backed up with MozBackup first.

Do you see my problem, though, Colin. A quick Google shows some discussion of the issue, but it seems to relate more to web page display than program. I'd guess, atm, that I'm using a font which doesn't contain an ellipsis, but I'm not aware of a setting to change the font (or why it worked in FF2).

Rik

Solved, I needed a font change in my theme... Changing within FF didn't work. Pesky computers. :)

Glad you are sorted Rik. I thought for a minute that you may need my expert advice. ;D

;D

I did, In. Ray's screenshot gave me the clue, it was using a different font to mine, so it was then down to finding whether it was an internal FF thing, or external. It was the latter, but the puzzle is that it worked fine in FF2.
