Well caused even more disruption/confusion in the office.

Now transferring my other bt line (that used to have the broadband on) over to idnet.

Looked at 2 years worth of calls and can now safely say idnet line only will be the cheapest for my individual circumstances.

Transfer date is 18th lets see how this one goes.

Well just emailed support the line is stable but the profile is stuck. I should be on a 4000 profile i think?

Yes, 4000 would be correct for that sync, Dean. Classic stuck profile on a new line - should be easy to sort.

Been told :-

The IP profile will update automatically, this should happen within the next few days.

I will give it until tuesday next week (14days) then test again.

Rik

I find that, with BT, there's sometimes a yawning chasm between will and should. ;)

trouble is they also automatically stuck interleaving back on.

that makes no differance to my line, i have requested it be switched back off.

Rik

How does that compare with the original line, Dean?

500-1000 higher profile (i was on the cusp).

But to be honest lets give it a couple of weeks to stabalize.

I am getting 1-2 drops every couple of day's (used to be 1 a week on average)

Rik

I'll keep everything crossed for you, some of the time at least. ;)  :fingers:

ADSL Max is rate-adaptive, and so the only stablisation that may take place is an increase in your target SNRM.
