2700 & DHCP

You're best to define them in Windows, then, especially as the 2700 has a vulnerability surrounding DNS...

It's the stability as much as the speed that I notice, Tac. With a Netgear, my noise margin was all over the place and I rarely made more than a week without a re-sync. The 2700's been able to hold the line for 2 months.

Actually I use a Mac as my main machine, though I do define the servers in the machine's network settings.

Strangely it reports higher figures than either the Zyxel or a Draytek both of which I've used in the past. The Zyxels (AR7) were fairly stable albeit at a lower SNR and would 'sometimes' (not often) hold sync for a week or even 10 days if the weather was good. The Draytek even with tweaking could just about manage a couple of days, three at best.

I got this msg here after a reboot this morning, so it looks as if BT have been messing about. Wouldn't mind if they made some improvements but I've yet to see anything tangible....
