That's what I'm saying, Lance, the NM accounts for the difference between achieved and expected sync.

I think we've got our wires crossed here. I thought the OP was saying that despite a sync of around 6Mb, throughput was only about 2Mb, in which case this would be due to the profile.

I think you may be right, I've completely lost the plot by now.

profiles gone up to 5mb
though noise hasnt changed

Profile and noise margin are not related as such. It'll take at least 14 days for the target margin to fall.

Yep, I was talking about his sync, which he said was still 1.5mb of 'normal'.
