I suspect they look at it on a medium-term basis, but that's just my guess.

i think i've been charged once when i went 4 gig over, but normally only a little bit over won't attract a charge.

I rarely go over. The only time I do is with the daytime cap. That's when I'm too busy and need my sleep to want a PC whirring by my head throughout the night.

I imagine I'll be close next month though as I'm reinstalling my main PC, which will involve every Vista patch and driver since release. It was huge when I last did it about 2 months after Vista was released. Oh it's gonna be a long day.
