Rik

Remove it, David. When you need it you will be told and can re-install it. You want to delete both the plugin from Firefox and the program itself, unless the latter runs OK.

If you need to be able to read PDFs you can always install Foxit Reader - much lighter and much less bug-ridden than Adobe's load of rubbish :D
Is the world purple enough yet?

No.

Rik

Don't be unkind to Adobe, John, without them there wouldn't be a PDF.  :'( ;D

Foxit reader is a fantastic, lightweight program, much better than Adobe.

Den

Just a thought but why do men block their age and location on their profile, I can understand why women block their age (it's a custom) but it would be nice to know how old everone is and what part of the country they live. Sometimes they even block their gender and that I can not understand.  :eyebrow:

Foxit is far better, imho. I think it was Noreen that introduced me to it. :)

It's a public forum and I suppose some people don't want to be too 'visible' Den, for whatever reason.

A lot of people here won't have their photograph as their avatar, something that's very common elsewhere because people like to see who they are talking to. I suppose it's the same sort of reasoning.

Rik

Indeed. I'm very relaxed about such things, but I accept that not everyone's the same. At least we don't display the ghastly gender icons that SMF can use. :)
