Naxos allow you a week to re-download in the event of a problem but I don't think that Amazon do, Play.com allow you to re-download for a limited number of times. I always backup to an external harddrive AND a flash drive.

I don't think so, Vit, but I'm not 100% certain. Most d/l software comes with an optional extra payment to allow re-downloads in the event of loss. Apple, may offer such a scheme, I've never noticed.

Thanks for the confirmation, Steve. It's not that unreasonable, I suppose. If you lose a CD, you don't expect to get a second one free. I just make sure there's enough backups made.
