It was bound to happen, and I'm glad it has - not because I think illegally downloading is okay, but because of the way the lawsuits were being handled.

They are never going to stop illegal downloading.  If it's there, people are going to take it.

I love that... And there's a lot of truth in it!

Rik

There is. My font collection, the entire Adobe Font Folio, becomes worthless if I change to a Mac. Why?

I got to play on one at the college Christmas party. It made me really really want one. There's even a penguin game for the Wii Fit :D

Me too Rik, but my Daughter has a Wii, she seems to enjoy it.

I want a Wii too, but lack of room in my room makes it unrealistic for me to have one.  :(

Lots of people do, In, and it's not just an age thing. Right back to the days of the BBC Micro, I could never see the point in games - though I did write one for Acorn, but the point of that was earning money. ;D

That would imply I've not already got something for Danni, Rik ;)

No, it would suggest you get her something else as well. ;D

I bought my missus a Wii and Wii Fit about 4 months ago, its been used three times, Wii Fit got sold last month to a friend for his wife.

I've bought her another Wii game - Big Brain Academy for Xmas to try and get her to use it.  If she doesn't start using it then it's going in Jan / Feb next year.

Buy an Xbox instead Danni, far superior.

Sebby

Xbox 360 Elite can be had for £169.99 at Woolworths, apparently. ;)

You bought someone's wife with a Wii Fit? That's a rather poor deal there ;)

Wiis look a short lived "gimmick" to me.

Its ok at first but the graphics and lack of "good games" really dont hold me

wii fit looks fun...but then again u can just go to the gym

I currently have a Playstation 2, and the only thing I really use it for is the dance mat. My agoraphobia (though not too bad) means that going to the gym or going for a walk would be very difficult. I want a Wii and a Wii fit as not only is it a lot of fun, but it will be an easy way for me to get exercise.
