Hello all.

Just signed up to the Home Supermax :) Will be migrating from an Enta isp.

At the end of the signup process it said a confirmation E-Mail had been sent. I signed up earlier this afternoon and have not received this yet. Would this be because its the weekend? Hope so...

Cheers all.

From a soon to be idnetter.

Simon

Hi Eternity, and  :welcome:  :karma:

I believe they have to wait for BT to give them the migration date, upon which you should receive a notification, but it was 18 months ago when I joined, so I can't remember the exact process.  :)

If in doubt, give IDNet a call on Monday (0800 0267 237), and I am sure they'll put your mind at rest.

Technically, you're already an IDNetter. ;) :welc: :karma:

Out of curiosity why are you moving to idnet?

what sync speeds were you getting previously?

being nosey (typical of all us on here the others just will not admit it-or make sarcastic comments :) )

Hi.

Moving because of the peak time problems Enta is suffering at the minute. Don't get me wrong, ADSL24 have been a really good ISP, always very helpful. The new nodes (IPStream Connect) just aren't working for me. My pings have gone up quite a bit.

Plus, I just fancied a change ;)

Sebby

The good thing about IDNet is that they give a sensible anytime allowance, which doesn't encourage mass usage at particular times. :)

Adrian

I've been with IDNet for 2 months now, having left Enta just before the proverbial s**t hit the fan and, boy, am I glad I did get out when I did! Unfortunately, IDNet is rather boring because nothing ever happens, it just does what it says on the tin! ;D ;D

Seriously, I have absolutely no regrets with the move.
