I have inherited my daughter's epson RX420 all in one printer/scanner.

I have managed to network the printer to two pc's one vista and one XP but can't network the scanner part.

Any ideas anyone?

Quite often there are separate scanner drivers. You need to add a scanner and point it to the downloaded drivers.

I installed the epsonscan driver but still couldn't share.  I know it's quite easy to share a seperate scanner but I think these all in one printers can be tricky.

But sometimes requires third party software such as the link above, but is not a cheap solution, $178 for 10 users :eek4:

For which you could buy a good networking all-in-one. :(

Sorry, I misread. Check the properties of the scanner in Control Panel. You might find that it is set to use a local port. You may need to manually add a TCP/IP port...
