I have put in an order for this http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=643 I need to get my Broadband from around my new home to the PS3 and Blu-ray player in the lounge in my new home, you just plug the first one into your router and the mains and the second which is a 4 port hub into where you need it, and then its done, I'll post a review once I get them, but its a neat idea and saves the issues of wireless networking dead spots in your home :)
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

A number of people use similar kit, Gary, I think Solwise and Devolo have been mentioned, maybe one other brand. It will be good to hear how yours works for you.

I looked at those models but wanted something more like a router with 4 ports Rik hence I went for these, as it is Im having the BT master socket moved anyway but getting cable around the new house would have been an issue and I wanted to try something other than wifi this time. I liked the other option but having 4 ports is more cost affective as I need two and these will also go with the black  glass TV stand pS3 and av amp etc so aesthetics do play a roll as well

Should work fine, I use 200 AV on a PS3 and streaming video is faultless . Are those 4 ports shared or switched do you know?
