Well I'm optimistic :thumb: I have had good results up here for long periods of time, (a good 2.5meg for months on end) I count this as a blip, albeit a large one :eek4: The fog has now lifted, maybe that's a good sign, the fog on the line is all mine, all mine............

Thinking about the analogy between haemorrhoids and a faulty BT phoneline. At least  haemorrhoids can be cured in relatively short period of time, no one needs to come to your home and inspect them,no charge is made if the diagnosis is incorrect, they are unlikely to recur again and no permanent movement of residence is required.

I think I'd rather have the haemorrhoids.

A favourite saying of mine is 'I'd rather walk round town with a nail in my boot'  :thumb:

Neither option being particularly appetising. ;)

The nice man from BT came today, and found a fault on the line about 275 metres down the road. in the trees :eek4: (the phone was that bad this morning I couldn't have a conversation, the noise was terrible :thumbd:)
Anyhow, he tested and prodded and fixed :thumb: Things are looking better ( :fingers: ) and I have seen speeds that I didn't know existed up here :eek4: So a big thank you to IDNet and Brian for sorting me out :karma:
This was a test not so long ago :ok:

I know it's early days, and things need to settle down, (including me) but it's another result :solved:

Now that is an improvement, Mick.  :thumb:

What is the date of the referendum for England to become an independent country ?

It will be great to see just how good a 2700HGV can be. I have been using mine for some time and just can't fault it and when you take into account I live about two mile from the exchange.   ;D

Many hammer all over the wall and believe that with each blow they hit the nail on the head.
