I've noticed over the last week or so that I've started getting quite a lot of these errors cropping up as I browse.  It always clears when I rake the retry option, so it's more of a minor annoyance rather than a major issue.

Having googled this, there does appear to be a common though that it might be ISP related, so though it worthwhile asking whether anybody else has noticed this.

I'm running XP SP3 and KIS 8.0.0.506 if that's relevant.

Thanks for your help.

Lance

I've only ever had this if my wireless network has lost connection or when i've lost sync (which isn't an isp problem). Sorry!

Seem it very occasionally.  Usually it's just a glitch connecting to the site.  Doesn't happen often enough to cause concern for me.

Been seeing it alot of late, aswell as erratic throughput.

I've been collecting BT speedtests for about two weeks.  I'll be contacting them during the week.

Whenever I see this error, it's a problem with the site I'm trying to connect to.

I'm intrigued.  How do you know it's the site and not the BB connection, AV software, etc?

Sebby

I don't for certain, but I always get the feeling it is (try going through something like this).

Rik

Plus, of course, if mail is flowing the connection is generally OK.
