At least you didn't say YOUNG blood - now that would really have hurt, especially Rik  ;D ;D ;D

I'd have just gone and listened to some Madeleine Peyroux while I cried myself to sleep.   :'(

Kitty

Since signing up I have had fantastic support from those here on the forum as well as  the equally fantastic support from customer service-thanks again guys!

It really makes a difference to have somewhere to share your queries and problems.

We :lcome aboard (hopefully!) :D

Rik

The joy of this place, Kitty, is that we don't have a lot of problems to talk about, so when we do have any, everyone can focus on them.

I'm sure you'll be happy with us. Pop over to Natter or Rants and Raves and help us put the world to rights. :)

CrossTalk

Thanks to everyone for their help with the email/pop3 issue.  CS sorted it pretty quickly, apparently the 2 email accounts that were showing as "ready" within my Idnet account pages hadn't actually been set up on their servers.  I don't know how that happened (neither do they) but it doesn't matter as it was sorted by email so quickly.

Excellent service, I know I made the right decsion moving to Idnet already  :)

Rik

We know you did too. :) Sit back and enjoy...

Just to add my thoughts as well.

The service has been working great for me.  Slight problem, which with the help from some top people on here has now nearly been sorted (wiring problem).   :D  The actual broadband seems very solid, so can't complain!

Much better than my last ISP.  I also really like the 1 month contracts.  Makes me feel like I'm not locked in, but I doubt I'll be leaving anytime soon.  ;)

Thanks!

lol, when I left pipex back in march last year (gosh have I really been with idnet for a year) they offered me a customer retention package of a discounted 2Mb connection with cap and a new 12 month contract. I said no, I didn't want a 12 month contract, and was told well no isp will do 1 month contracts. However as I was planning to move to Idnet, I already knew differently :)
