If I wore one I would raise my hat to you  ;)
Many hammer all over the wall and believe that with each blow they hit the nail on the head.

I use a Canon IP6700 and it's the best printer I have ever used. I must admit Canon ink tanks are not the cheapest but you only change whatever colour you require. This is my second Canon printer after years of using HP and the difference was dramatic.   ;D

I've always found Epsons prone to nozzle block, and they tend to use a lot of ink in self-clean routines, so I moved to HP and Canon. :)

Rik is right.  I have two Epson Photoquality printers, one A4, one 4X6, and they just drink ink. Just fired up the 4x6, first time since December, and even after three nozzle cleans I was still getting blocked jets. Meantime the ink level fell by about a third for the cleans and three 6x4 prints. Thats a big cartridge that is supposed to handle 100 or more prints. The A4 is worse. May be its OK using them every day. Frankly I prefer a print shop and a B&W laser. I find the colour balance hard to control and get through yet more ink and paper trying, but on the other hand I am not skilled.
