Have never had any problems with IDNet in the past... However this past week i have noticed my ping is about 100 - 150.
I have ran speed test and they are fine, around 6700 Down and 350 Down, which is normal - however the ms is around 90 (Instead of 10 - 15).

Heres some tracerts.

Oof!

Dosn't look good.

Are IDNet trying to resolve this at all?

I do miss my 10 - 15 pings :(

Simon

IDNet hope to resolve these issues in the next 24 hours, which have apparently happened as a result of having to rebalance the network following the new capacity added on Friday.

My pings used to be like 20ms, slowly increased over the past 6 months. This month its at 180ms
lol..

Welcome to the forum, Conneh!

My understanding of the issue is that although the BT management software should be automatically balancing the centrals as and when people initiate a PPP session, the software isn't working correctly and IDNet have been trying to manually rebalance the centrals themselves. It should all be sorted, as Simon has said, over the next 24 hours or so.

FWIW, currently my pings are averaging about 10ms higher than normal.

We're not, but IDNet are - we're only a unofficial forum!
