Perhaps we can have a dedicated thread purely for useful / must have tools? Links to the software only with no discussion? Would be a helpful index of tools for me certainly

We could open up 'Tools for speeding up a PC' to a wider range, Sam. Preventing discussion might be a different matter though.

The "problem" with Hiren's excellent CD is that not all of the software on it is freeware/shareware and a number of software suppliers have complained about the inclusion of their utilities on his disk.

This version of a UBCD is "better" in that all the software on it is there legally.

Both really useful though.
