Skyfire mobile browser

For anyone with a symbian or windows device this proxy browser (like opera mini) which is still in beta but works great is available for download, it supports Flash 10, Realplayer, quicktime, silverlight, ajax etc all built in, the full range of pc browser based formats, so all web pages should appear as they would on your pc, you can set up an account so your bookmarks etc get kept when new updates come along, and best of all is based on the firefox browser, I have been playing around with it this morning and its great, version 1 should be released in a while but version .09 is perfectly usable

Its updated version 0.9 is much better, I think as time goes on Seby it will get more popular, its offered as a download by Nokia now, but FF have plans for a mobile browser themselves, so it will be interesting to see what that's like, rather than one that's built off the code.

Third party browsers on mobiles do tend to be better, in the little experience I've had. The iPhone only has Safari, which is actually pretty good as far as mobile browsers go, although Apple are now allowing other browsers on the App Store. I can't see myself switching, though.

Have they allowed Java and Flash yet Sebby? I'm coming up for renewal soon and if they have them on board now, and sorted out sending MMS then I would be tempted

No Java or Flash, although Flash is rumoured to be coming. There is now an app to receive MMS. However, because the iPhone doesn't have native MMS support, O2 don't include any allowance in your tariff, so you have to buy credit to send MMS.
