It is a reflection, David, the whole screen surround has got a reddish tint to it so it looks a very dark burgundy colour, I quite like it makes a change from black.  :)

Yes it looks good a translucent exploration of colour and style  ;D

I'm famed for my reticence to either peruse a book or immerse myself in the transportation of words via the written form.......I'm more audio and appreciate the transference of sounds through the melodic medium of a CD player   ;D

I like to do both, but need to cut back on my time here to fit them in. :)

Im afraid your appreciation of the quality of sounds will need to be strictly controlled as your sacrifice has not yet been fulfilled...... ;D

I have control of the off switch. I'm just making sure Sue doesn't find it. :)

Sue is getting good at this lark, I'm trying to make sure she knows how to deal with things if I'm not around. She's doing her own Windows updates, backups etc.

On a serious note and bearing in mind one of your ponderings I amtrying so hard to get Wendy to know her way around this and have backed all the passwords up and sounds morbid but it is essential for her to know, otherwise there would be problems.,

My thoughts, exactly, David. I even put some suggestions in the FAQ. It's a common thing for one partner to be the computer 'bod' and the other just use the things. It's too risky these days, Sue has to know how to do at least the basics...

:karmic: I read a lot of your stuff and it makes so much sense not just with PCs either.I have managed to teach some things like Email and accessing important sites but its proving very difficult to put her mind at rest especially when it comes to transferring money etc,she is terrified of making a mistake and will not order anything or pay a bill, which I hope I can show her that nothing is irreversible and that without learning this she will meet some,on the surface big challenges and it would not be at a time when one would be wanting to learn so I have a back up I have taught my daughter how to carry out these tasks.....hopefully it wont be needed just yet  :fingers:

It is vital she learns them though

It's the best way, David. We have to face the fact we are mortal, and preparing for death is not morbid in my book, merely sensible. Not a lot different to writing a will, in fact.

Exactly and I would rather there was one thing less to worry about than getting a bin bag at short notice  ;D
