Thats the article I posted before, the more you read of it the bigger the nightmare.

In a nutshell M$ believe they have the right to own and control everything remotely linked to computers.

NOW............if you think that is bad try reading this....."M$ = world domination"!!

M$ PATENT APPLICATION

You will probably feel sick after this one >:( >:( >:(

Nerval

YUK!!!

I don't think they'll stop at world domination.  They're even more power-crazy than Tony Bliar

Now that is worrying! Have you ever noticed that you don't see Bill Gates and George W together. They couldn't be one and the same could they?  ???

So that's why he's so set against piracy in vista.

Daft thing is he ought to know that the harder you make it to pirate stuff, the more determined it makes people.
Not that I've ever pirated anything, of course

It's really a war isn't it? Measure and counter-measure. MS will penalise the many for the few, and eventually, we'll be so unhappy that we will buy Macs or move to Unix. MS should remember what happened to Sony with their audio CD fiasco.

Indeed, that finished my love affair with Sony.
Anything and everything that I post on here is purely my opinion, it ain't going to change the world, you are under no obligation to agree with me, it is purely my expressed opinion.

But they won't care..............if you read that patent application it means that IF ANYONE develops software that can be said to be an operating system
for a computer (or computer like device) then M$ automatically have the right to own it/claim patent on it.

Rik

Which is hopefully why the patent will never be granted. Has anyone told Apple?
