Afterthought, Q. You'll need to force a re-sync to go back to 8128...

Rik

Have done a BT test this morning and it says that I am back to 8128. Do you think I need to re-sync? :dunno:

Rik

Not if BT report 8182. What was the profile?

Profile 6500.

Rik

That should recover to 7150 in the next few days.

Edit: IP address removed

Rik

I've removed the file, David, as it quoted your IP address.

There's not a lot I can say, in isolation, as the figures alone show your line is slower, but not why. To be able to help, I need to know your sync speed, noise margin and attenuation 'before and after'. Ideally, I also need to know your profile. Try a BT test, that will tell us a bit more about now.

Rik

Well, the sync speed and profile are correctly related, so I can only assume that your sync speed has dropped between February and March. Do you know if either your noise margin or attenuation have increased?

No Rik,would a ping test show this ?

You're on a 9db target or more, so if you can maintain stability, things will pick up by 5-700kbps. :)

Stability in this case is out of my control though ? so its  :fingers: isnt it ?  ;D
