It's quite useful to have a throwaway one or two. I use one for all forum notifications, so I have formed an archive over the years.

I have used Hotmail for years..I know....I know..  :o

Never had a problem.

Oh and one or two extra freebie's for Forum use.

I think the big advantage with GMail is the free POP access. IIRC, you have to pay for that with Hotmail?

Not on old accounts, only newer ones I think,  mine works fine through OE.

I am the worlds worst hoarder...my loft and garage are full of " I may need it some day " stuff. ;)
