There must be a problem with... something.

I've sent an email to support, and put a call in, but I don't think this can't really be classed as an emergency, so unless it's a quick fix, we may not see a resolution till the morning.

Yes, you should have received an email notification if you're nearing your allowance, Lona. It may just be a blip with the server, so it might be worth trying later, especially now I've alerted IDNet to the problem.

I guess the answer to that is that uploading is free, so you get the full 30Gb download allowance, which you wouldn't get with other ISPs. Swings and roundabouts.

Just another thought, Lona, I believe you can use an RSS feed to monitor your bandwidth allowance, but don't ask me how, as I don't use it myself.
