Which browser do you use?

I'm saying this after trying safari (FF was playing up and futuremark's new browser benchmark here says it was one of the best performers) but still not convinced..

it looks nicer, but pages are taking a bit longer to load i think, and cpu usage is too too too high some of the time

just wondering if i should go back to firefox, apologise and take it out for a "make up" dinner

It doesn't allow multiple selection, I use Firefox on one laptop, but IE on the desktop

What is the different between seamonkey and firefox?

Sorry, i just always assumed it was a lightweight firefox

anyway, probably worth trying, i tend to avoid addons after my recent adblock incident

how does it score on that futuremark benchmark?

I am using Safari 4.0 beta and FF 3.08. Safari is by far the quickest but not confident about its security at present.

I think I have them all on this PC, but I still seem to stick with Firefox, the AddOns allow me to customise the whole experience.

I even use Firefox on Mac OSx

Lightweight?? LIGHTWEIGHT??!! How very dare you!!!

Sea Monkey is what spawned Firefox in the first place, except that it was just called Mozilla then. It's a browser suite, so it encompasses email, and HMTL editor. It's the closest you'll get to Netscape these days.

Firefox 3.0.8 here and will be for a long time to come. It's Add on's put it way ahead of the pack imho.

Adblock is good but yes it seems to make it laggy, but saying that Ive tried with it disabled lately and FF is still slow for me recently.

other add ons I like are Downloadhelper for getting videos and images from sites,Foxytunes which runs with your media player and can control it and get lyrics/videos etc. and I use mouse gestures too.....cos Im lazy

I'm using Opera at the moment (been using it for a few weeks now) and I like it

I'd used Firefox for years and it was the best (IMHO), but I fancied a change

Avant Browser (much improved, but based upon IE) http://www.avantbrowser.com/

Never crashes, has never conflicted with any site I've visited, blocks pop-ups, has a great set of mouse gestures, better tab handling than IE, all in all I consider it almost perfect.

Yes.

..and a very accomplished browser it is too.

I've recommended it to several friends and all bar one continue to use it, mostly because they no longer have the problems they had when using other browsers to access some sites that were only optimised for IE.

I know it's fashionable to knock MS products - I'm not much of a fan either - but fair's fair: Avant works well.
