Hi! Guys

Your advice please. Is this free PC clean up programme, that on the surface, looks very useful, any good?

Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated. :dunno:

It looks OK on paper, Q, but I've no personal experience of it. Be wary, in general, of registry cleaners, they often get it wrong, so set a system restore point before use and preferably do a backup. The other thing to watch for is that this isn't one of those apps which is free, but having diagnosed a problem, demands a fee to fix it.

Unless you are having issues Registry cleaners I think are  they generally do more harm than good, I will edit my registry to remove remnants of programs but I know what I am looking at, a program like CCleaner is really all you need and a good defrag program like perfect disc 10 or similar
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

i agree ccleaner is probably all you need, i ,ve used it for a very long time ,and its never failed yet, its also FREE!!!!

I'd use CCleaner, but probably not much else, tbh. You have to be very careful with these registry cleaners. Ultimately, I'd say it's better to try and keep the computer tidy, and not install/uninstall too much stuff if possible. Unfortunately, it's inevitable with Windows that the registry is going to get bloated, and the best resolution is to format. :)

I'd echo what's been said - caution advised.  :)
