The Undertaker

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who replied to my question on 28 Jan. "What's it like here?"
After a couple of emails between myself and Simon, Tim is migrating me on Monday.
With the support available from you lot, I'm sure that I have made the right choice.
Just a couple of points, if I may. Maxping, that picture of the real undertaker could not be further from the truth. If you look at my avatar you will see me on my weekly trip to the pub from the nursing home. And second.
Rik, when do you sleep? ;D
Thanks again see you soon.

I am sure you have made the right decision.

Rik never sleeps - too, busy helping us "non-techies" out.

Just passing on the stuff other people have helped me with. It's one of the great things about the online community, there is, generally, a willingness to help others, we all travel the same road, but are at different points of the journey. Others helped me get to where I am, I'll gladly try and pass on the knowledge they have given me.

Where's the bunting? And the welcoming pint of Old Peculiar?

Welcome Undertaker.

Rik & co will be along shortly to hand out the beers! :o

Hi Undertaker

Welcome aboard. Unfortunately, the bunting and beer are only available on selected feast days. Had you migrated on Wednesday, we would have been pouring them down the line immediately. As it is, however, you do qualify for a free lifetime's membership of the forum. :)

Bugger!
I'm not here 5 minutes and I'm asking for help.
I just tried to send an email via tbird and of course, it was still configured with my old ISP.
Went to change setting on my account to default server. Went to email again and it is still "looking up smtp.efhbroadband.com.

HELP :jawdrop:

Nerval

Just set up a new account for your IDNet email address and set it as default.
It works best if you set both servers to mail.idnet.net.uk.

Remember, you can't forward any mail that came into your old account  as it will try and use your old server  (is that the problem?).

Rik

Just a thought, oh coffin bearer, you have checked in the status page that the email account(s) are up and ready?

If we have bunting can it be Emma, who has got pleasantly curvaceous lately.

Just got back from the chemist with my 4 viagra tabs ...

lol  £50 isn't cheap though.

Yes on Feb 14th I can see people queueing up at Boots counter to tell the girl they're impotent in front of all the other customers.  Apparently you have to have a talking to and answer some questions - I don't know whether you'll be required to demonstrate or not  :D

It's bad enough when I go and ask for Sudafed (brilliant for controlling colds) and the daft girl asks my life history, measures my inside leg and talks to me as though I'm a five year old.
