Acer extended warranty only £26 for 2 years

Curious - I telephoned the number on the website (0870 167 0819) and asked where the drop-in centres are. I was told this is in fact a courier service (at Acer's cost) and not a drop-in service at all. I was then given Acer's phone number to verify this information (0870 853 1000), since the first number belonged to an agent, and Acer did verify that it was a courier service from your house.

It does, and since the nearest drop off is plymouth  they do pick up and returns as stated, I bought a Aspire 8930 with blue ray drive and TV tuner etc top of the range model to replace my desktop so its a bargain really on top of the original one year.
