Brought at the webspecial price yesterday, delivered at 08:20 this morning, and it is gorgeous.  No height adjustment just tilt but for the price it is awesome and would highly recommend.

What about the Eizo to replace it, Rik? >:D

Rik

I was giving Uxbod five minutes to enjoy it first.

Is Pantone like something they do at Christmas ? At my age, and how long I have worked with computers, it looks superb to me.  So there :)

Rik

A topic to food by reply 5, is this a new record? ;D

Huey is what I did staring at my laptop screen all day trying to fix a Cisco router  :'(

I'd have thought the record was by reply #1. :)x

Rik

Yes, but not usually by the OP. ;D

Simon

The monitor does look great, but it's bigger than the TV I have in my bedroom!  I'm not convinced about having a huge monolithic screen for fairly close usage, or what it could do long term to one's eyesight.

Rik

It's actually very easy on the eyes, Simon, and that extra width really is good for things like spreadsheets or Digiguide, or for having two windows side by side. I've never looked back from the move to 24" and would find a smaller monitor odd, now, unless it's on my Sammy, of course. :)

Does Huey use Pantene to clean the screen?

If I could get another past the good boss I would have two side by side ... End of day it does depend on what resolution you use aswell.  26" @ 1920x1200 is very easy on the eyes.  Lots of screen estate and I am about half a metre from it.

Rik

Same here, but 24". It makes a world of difference to how much scrolling you have to do, and it gives you a lot of space for detailed work in things like Photoshop.

I missed the change from my monitor down to my laptops 18.4" but the colour reproduction and the resolution of 1920 by 1080 make up for it in many ways.
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Sebby

I have to agree with Rik. When I first got my 24" iMac, it seemed completely ridiculous, but it's amazing how quickly you adapt and realise what a pleasure it is to have the extra space.

Den

Must be a sign of the times but I have never read about men boasting because they have a 24 inch one and complaining because theirs is ONLY 19 inch   ;D
Mr Music Man.

Rik

:nana: ;D

But Ux is 2" bigger than the rest of us, Den. ;)
