Baz

any one who uses Foxit could you just try this for me please.

I have just checked for upgrades and chose some to install one of them was for the main prog itself I think, when I now try to go to check which version I am on, Help/About Foxit Reader it stalls for ages and shows nothing, I see a very quick flash of something but cant make out what it is.

The title bar says im using V3.0 which I was before the update so was wondering how much more is added 3.0.****** or whatever

thanks

Lance

Mine has 3.0 build 1506 :)

Not one to go on a tangent from the tangents that have already appeared, but I hate to speak on topic. Nevertheless, I'll do it.

In my opinion, Foxit isn't as good as it was. PDFXchange viewer is better :)

Steve
Have I lost my way?

This post doesn't necessarily represent even my own opinions, let alone anyone else's

We use that at work - being able annotate PDFs is very handy for us. It is quite speedy as well!

Baz

looks good yeah. might keep Foxit for a while see how it goes.Noticed in the files downloaded that theres a 'Shell Extensions Setup.exe' file.whats that and does it need to be installed

Lance

Not sure to be honest, Baz. I've not run it yet and will hang on for a while. As it all seems to be working fine I guess I'll leave it!

Rik

Me neither, there seemed to be no reference to it, but the pdf extension is tied in, which is all that most people will need.

Baz

well i checked for updates and it needed to update the updater then after the updates the Shell Extensions must have installed as there is now an entry in my start menu with an 'uninstall' link and thats all. dont know what it does or whether to leave it or not.
