I know that the router interface is at 192.168.1.254, but is there a standard login for Speedtouch routers as there is for Netgears, eg admin/password?

Thanks.

Thanks, Robin. What I was trying to ask, though, is is there a username/password to log in to the router interface. There doesn't seem to be a manual online (it's a 780WL), and the owner claims to have no documentation (I'll bet it's on the CD, but being armed with knowledge is so much more reliable, in my experience :) ).

Thanks for the command line, though, I'm sure I'll be needing it.

Yes, it's "Administrator" and leave the password box blank.

Thanks, Thar. Or, if I had a stutter, thar-thanks. :)
