BT Broadband's lack of capacity hits it's users

According to BBC News, BT Broadband is secretly throttling some of it's users every evening.

I like the way they are optimising the network for all customer's lol. Optimising as in providing a low quality service.

Fairly typical of the large ISPs, sadly. More sadly, Ofcom lets them get away with it.

I read that last night and was rather surprised at how inaccurate the accompanying graph appears to be especially considering its source, ThinkBroadband.

I can't see how for example, browsing online shops or paying bills online requires more bandwidth than watching a YouTube video

I just have 1 rule, they throttle me, i cancel the sub. Seems to be fair considering I don't download anything dodgy ever. I just want the best speed that my money can buy me.

Glad i have never had the pleasure of being a btinternet customer.
