I think my old and very deaf neighbour who has more dect phones than Currys may be the cause sometimes, along with his billion router than broadcasts on the 2.4ghz wavelength with enough power for half of the village to pick it up. He must have a mini Blackpool tower as a high gain aerial for it, I am not surprised his hearing aids whistle  ;)
