I normally use the QR box, Rik, unless I want to attach an image to my reply.  

Now I'm even more confused. I've re-sized the popup and it's working if I use standard reply (including PMs). On the QR, though, it remains the old size...

That is odd, it would be great to have it bigger on QR as thats what I use the most

This gets more bizarre, I've just tried this on FF on another machine and the [more] link wont open in a new tab it opens in a new window, but other links will open in a new tab. Setting on FF on my other machine are exactly the same.

So that's the same as Gary and me, Ray? Can you right click and check the properties. It should be javascript:moreSmileys();, will open in same window.

I've solved the tab problem, Rik, if you are using Tab Mix Plus in Options make sure that Javascript popups is set to 'Open all popups in tabs' then your [more] link will open in a new tab.

Still doesn't explain why it opens in a new tab on my main PC without  Tab Mix installed though, Gary.
