We have been royally let-down by BT, again, on the WBC 21CN ADLS2+ service. We had been running the service in beta-mode during testing on limited available bandwidth whilst the service was proved. Since we started placing volume regrade orders we placed an upgrade order on BT to increase the available bandwidth on our 21CN Host Link to accommodate the expected capacity requirements. The lead-time for such an order is 5 working days. (Heaven knows why such an order takes so long to complete given that it is just a simple config change.) We placed this order on 29th May and it has still not ben implemented. Knowing full well that we have many customers expected to go live over the next few days we "escalated" the issue to the BT Senior Product Manager in charge of WBMC. Still, no results! We will, of course, be having full and frank discussions with BT tomorrow on this latest failure. At this time all we can do is to apologise to our customers for the poor initial experience of ADSL2+.

Regards in frustration

Thanks, Simon. It certainly explains the results that a number of us are seeing this evening. It's a shame you are stuck with BT. :(
