As if by magic I am teleported here  ;D Phorm seem to be saying they are doing well elsewhere but their shares took a knock today, I can see the other big ISP's backing as far away as possible from them now.
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

NP, Gary, did you enjoy the trip?  ;D I think that decision by BT could prove fatal to their ambitions in this country.  :)

I did Ray, wish I could get into town that easily  ;D I agree I think thats nailed Phorm in the UK pretty much, no one will want to lose customers in a recession, and Phorm is the kiss of death, I mean even the Government did not want anything to do with them, they must be really bad

Ray

I agree, Gary, I think they're likely to run into problems with the EU as well.  :)

Lets hope so, Ray, I do not want to see people out of work but Phorm and its profiling for advertisements has a much more sinister side, and I am glad to see it being rejected.

We are unanimous, to quote the late Molly Sugden.

I just read about this on the way home. I hear Phorm's share price has dropped considerably. Who said prayers don't get answered? >:D

I note that the company has seen interest from another 15 countries. Most likely countries with few human rights, a compliant press and governments who care little for their international profile.

Which is, after all, what this product was designed for in the first place.

Ray

It seems TalkTalk have dumped them as well now here

That's what they are saying but there's no evidence to support it. It seems they are trying to talk up a product that nobody actually wants.
