IE6 crashing

For some reason clicking on the link in recent posts to will "I ever connect again at 8mb" is crashing IE6 at work

no idea about that one but i like the fact my thread is killing IE6

I'm not sure, Steve. I used IE6 at work (until a couple of weeks ago) and no problems. Nothing's changed on the forum for ages that could have caused that. Have you tried clearing the temporary internet files?

I thought it was odd as it was just that particular link, I have cleared the temporary folder and all is now well :thumb:

Shame its not permanent , I have got FF secreted on one machine >:D I have being trying to install it for awhile but kept being denied . However I managed to find an old version which installed ok and them managed to update it . I pinched the proxy settings from IE6 and it connects ok. I feel gardening leave coming on.

Glad to hear it. That usually fixes most problems with IE!

Don't turn on the pc in the first place and you will never have an issue with any hardware/software
