EMail question

I have changed EMail and using 1&1 is there any way to either get these two to work together or do I have lose the windows mail server

Can I for instance share the contacts or foward the existing mail in my old box ?

As long as you know the server details then you add your new email address to your mail client

I have always used outlook.

I have downloaded Thunderbird but its not active I thought I would lose outlook as my isp is not providing EMail service atm but I may upgrade

So where the oulook is set up for IDNet who would I set it up for to send mail ?

Thanks for that, Rik, I hadn't realised I needed to change the port, I've still been using port 25, changed now though.

Im nearly there Glenn have done all that is on the sheet and ensured the correct port (Rik) just checking to see I havnt made any errors then I assume mail will go to my new address and I can reply from there,if I understand this correctly

One point I am left with looking at it all set up,the account idnet.com is still on the list and above it is the 000000 account but the default is still idnet do I change this to the 00000?
