How do I make Adobe 9 my default reader. I want to print some certificates but they will not print in Foxit so I was told the only way to revert to Adobe is to reinstall it but Foxit still comes up as fefault.

A quick solution would be to open Reader and open the file(s) from there, Den.

It turned out that the only way was to uninstall Foxit and reinstall Adobe. Then give the computer permision to open in Adobe. So Foxit has now gone.  :eyebrow:

You might like to try PDF-XChange Viewer, Den. I much prefer it to Foxit.

I'd second that, Rik,  I find it better than Foxit.  :thumb:

I'll 3rd it too, I was just about to suggest it, when I scrolled down the page to see it already there.

I think it was So who recommended it originally. He certainly converted me. :)

The snag is the SSAIB Certificates will only open in Adobe as I found to my cost so I will give the latest version a run and see how I get on.  ::)

That's interesting, Den. What's the error message?

No error message, when I click on print on the screen it will now open in adobe and print. With foxit it just does not open the attachment. When I spoke to support at the SSAIB the IT guy said it will only run in adobe and the only answer was to uninstall and reinstall and I found that this did not work until I got rid of Foxit. The certificates were more important than Foxit.  :eyebrow:

Odd that, Den, it sounds like either the certificates or Foxit aren't fully compliant with the PDF standard. Any idea what they were created with?
