Yes after all the "no i like Nokia's" tomorrow  :fingers: a shiny black 32gb iPhone 3GS will be winging its way to me, my phone reached critical mass almost so I sold it on Mazuma for £129 and got the iPhone, all I have to do is work out how the hell to use it when it comes  ;D

Well stock does not exist and they had no idea when it would be back in, after telling me they had some.....so i cancelled and will stick with what I have, I cannot be bothered to pay waiting games for a phone of all things  :(

Yup, I would go with that too, Gary, although, knowing myself, I'd probably try a bit harder first, as I do find obtaining the unobtainable an addictive challenge.  ;)

So you've cancelled your order, Gary?

Speaking of phones - I've had my Nokia N95 8GB for several months now, and it does everything!

Ermm, anyone know how to use it to make a phone call?

Yes Sebby, they had no idea when stock would be in, my local store has no stock and no idea when they will get the 32gb black, so having £274 floating around is just a waste of cash  :(

As I said to Sebby, Simon, they just don't have stock, they have no 16GB Black 3GS but I don't want that and no 32GB Black which I do, so sitting on my backside while O2 have my cash is not what i consider a good move, I even called the other store in Portsmouth and no stock either. They just have none anywhere.

Have you looked at the HTC Hero, Gary?  I was getting quite tempted last night, and the reviews don't seem bad. I like the look of the Andriod OS, but am a little concerned that it might be just a bit too Google oriented.

I will have a look Simon saying that Android may be interesting, Apple has had a falling out with Google a bit as it seems people are taking Google, Chrome and the OS its making very seriously and Google are such a ferocious market force. I think Android is going on an acer netbook as well, and some said it would not take off  ::) Anyway I'll go look at the HTC  :thumb: Cheers

1-2 days Rik, Car insurance is down to £330 for the Renaut sport, with 5 years no claims insured, vandalism cover, legal cover, and courtesy car etc so Justina is happy, not bad considering how powerful that car is  :thumb:

I quite liked it but the shame was a bit odd, feature wise it looks good, but I would have to see one in the flesh, I think the Pre will be good when that comes out on O2 later this year though as well. HTC know how to build a very good PDA/Phone but I have had signal issues with the titan I had maybe different now. You would need to see it though I think to be sure. I may order one on a 7 day return to see and if I hate the iPhone i'll keep it.

I must say Simon, the iPhone is gorgeous, its fast intuitive the GUI is amazing email set up is great and the touch screen is brilliant, did I say fast? Its a mac in minature and its clean and everything is one click away, no burying yourself through menu after menu, my first charge lasted two daysd and thats with lots of wifi and playing I can tell you, even google earth is good on it. Location services are great and relly help. Its well worth it and I never thought I would say that. Sorry for not believing Sebby having played with one to owning one is very different. Now I hate iTunes though  ;)

I just mentioned it in another thread, but iTunes is pretty horrible on a PC. But on a Mac, it's really good. Once you've owned something Apple, you realise how nice technology can be to use. :)

It's the same interface, but that of course fits in with the Mac. It's also usable - by that I mean it opens up quickly and is responsive to use, unlike the Windows version.

I have to admit Lance I got the black 32Gb one as well, they do look smart  ;D I just downloaded an app called red laser, basically if you are shopping you scan the barcode with your iPhone, it finds the product via Amazon and Google, shows you the best results and you can find the cheapest one and go straight to the website from the app, saved me a tenner on Garden shears  :thumb:

Could be a good Idea Rik  :thumb: I got another one called convertbot very simple to use converts just about anything weight, length volume, even data and of course currency which it updates so you have the latest figures when you open it, and its all based on a wheel like the ipod, fast simple and intuitive, and very handy and you can add and take away from the wheel what you do and dont need. http://tapbots.com/convertbot/

Did I vote  ;D I know its not a major thing but those that use an iPhone get to grips with apps better than reviews sometimes, it could just be talked about in computer discussion just as easily to be honest. I am happy either way  :)

Hoping to get an iPhone after Christmas, when they'll be available on Vodafone.  Orange get them before Christmas but he market reckons that Vodafone will publish significantly  lower prices before Christmas in an attempt to encourage people to hold until after Christmas and get one of theirs.  Its got me convinced, especially as 3G availability is far better on Vodafone than on O2!  ;D
